The former telephone switching station is a one storey, 3,400 ft2 building that had already been converted to a single family home.

In this project,  a new interior stair has been added connecting the ground floor to roof.  A home office, lounge and large outdoor terrace area are located on the newly created upper level, and a glazed stairwell brings considerable additional daylight to the main floor living spaces.
