Located on a prominent granite cliff overlooking Westhawk Lake, the owners of this seasonal cottage were keen to add 'lightness' to the main floor - creating a more spacious, open feel, with all public spaces being able to take advantage of the spectacular lake view. 

The project included significant renovations to the ground floor and lower level of the main cottage. Interior work on the ground floor included the reconfiguration of certain rooms to allow for a grand, open space including main entry area, kitchen, dining and living rooms.  Windows were added to enhance the lake view, and two large glass panels were retrofitted to slide into a pocket wall, creating a seamless connection to an adjacent sunroom.The existing lower level was completely removed, and redesigned complete with a private lake view bedroom and ensuite, and additional sleeping quarters for four.
